Review of Learning Disabilities Inpatients Respite written by a carer
11th March 2015

Staff came when i needed them. Staff were on that i knew well and was comfortable with. They were kind and patient. They changed my pads regularly. They knew my routines. They know when i was unwell. They are careful about my medication.

Nothing to be improved. Always listen and we do what mum does at home. Recharges Mum batteries and gives mum time with other family members.

I cannot fault the care my son has. He is very well looked after and all his needs are met. My son cannot answer these questions but I am sure he would agree that these answers are all positive.

Review of Learning Disabilities Inpatients Respite written by a family member

1 Willow Close, is a home away from home for our daughter, who has profound learning difficulties and complex epilepsy. The staff without exception care deeply for the people in their care, and the building itself has a very comfortable environment. Willows is I believe the only bed based unit in northamptonshire and without this respite facility it would be impossible to lead a relatively normal life, both in giving our daughter a break from us and allowing us to have some time together. Thankyou

It would be useful to have an extra night if there is a family emergency.
